Having had the experience of making twins (pseudo-twins) from single models for a fashion editorial, as described in Blog #150, April 8, 2016, “Seeing Double,” I was prepared to go further when I embarked on a beauty editorial with the two remarkable looking real twins, Megan and Sara Hickey, Q Model Management.

Working with these identical sisters made for a creative day.

We completed the day with this image; how were two identical models turned into four?
I photographed the twins together (the two in the center).  Then I asked our make-up artist, Chris Milone  to add body paint to each and I re-photographed them and “bookended” them onto the center two. Hairstylist: Kirsten Bode.
